TDLR:

• All childcare days rollover monthly - so if you miss a day one week you can use it the following week in the same month provided there is space available
• Day pass memberships with childcare expire six months from purchase date - total flexibility!
• Refunds will be issued for quarterly recurring memberships only
• There is a $5 no-show fee for childcare and if you no-show on an event reservation with less than 24 hours, there is no refund (but a full refund if you cancel with more than a day's notice!)

Memberships can be modified or canceled at any time. Refunds will be issued for quarterly recurring memberships only. We strive to assign membership credits to childcare bookings or meeting room rentals that are cancelled or rescheduled, rather than issue refunds.

Note there is no refund for monthly recurring memberships and daily drop-ins passes. Please note childcare no-shows and cancellations with less than 12 hours notice will be charged a $10 cancellation fee.

If you are making use of a prebooked childcare and coworking package and you miss a day of childcare due to illness, we strive to reschedule your child within the same billing month at no additional charge. We do not issue credits for missed prebooked childcare days once the month is over (a use-it-or-lose it model for prebooked childcare).

<aside> 💡 For day passes of coworking or coworking + childcare, passes are valid for six months from purchase date. We will not issue refunds for day pass packages or punch passes, but they can be shared with family, friends or colleagues.

In the case of flash-sales for coworking or childcare with shorter expiry lengths, extensions on expiration and use-by dates will not be granted. Passes are fully transferrable, however.

Events and Workshops Refunds & Cancellation Policy

If you book an event at The Workaround, we do not charge a security or damage deposit, however, we reserve the right to invoice you $500 in damages if The Workaround is not returned to the way you found it, in working condition for Workaround members the next morning.

We strongly encourage all event coordinators to book a brief 15 minute tour with our Member Experience team prior to holding your event at The Workaround. This way we can discuss digital keys, room setup, bar configuration, beverage and snack service and any technical needs.
